Description

Conditions again started very well tonight. This is a first attempt for the Little Pinwheel Galaxy. I found it from µ UMa (very easy; it's right next door) but of course used the PicGoto to do it. I'm using 600-sec subframes. Guiding performance looks good. Had an unusual number of satellite trails early in the session. It is positively balmy tonight; the camera starts at 12.5 °C. Gusty wind came up after midnight, so guiding after the meridian flip became difficult and image quality degraded at that point.
